These terms are an agreement between you and AutoCV ("AutoCV") for the AutoCV and AutoCV Pro apps and autocv.com.ng. By using them you agree to these terms and our privacy policy.

1. Who can use AutoCV

You must be 18 or older and give true information. One person, one account. Businesses must be real and allowed to operate in Nigeria.

2. What AutoCV is (and isn't)

AutoCV connects people with employers and service providers. We aren't the employer, the provider or the customer, and we aren't a party to the job or the service. Until payments run through AutoCV, you pay providers directly and agree terms with them yourselves. We check some businesses (CAC verification) but can't guarantee anyone's work, conduct or job offer.

3. Job seekers

  • Your CV and answers must be truthful. AI-drafted CVs, cover letters and answers are written from your details; check them before they're sent.
  • Never pay to get a job. Real employers don't charge application, training, uniform or interview fees. Report anyone who asks.
  • Auto Apply sends applications on your behalf within your plan's limits and the rules you set. Credits are only used when an application is confirmed as sent; failed attempts are refunded to your balance.

4. Employers

  • Post real, lawful vacancies with honest pay and location.
  • Never ask applicants for money for any reason. We screen messages for this and suspend employers who do.
  • Use applicants' data only to recruit for the job they applied to.

5. Service providers

  • Describe your services, prices and fees honestly. A price you quote and the customer accepts is what you charge, unless you both agree a change.
  • Hold any licence or registration your trade requires.
  • Use customers' details only to deliver what they asked for.

6. Reviews

Only customers who agreed a price can review, once per request. Reviews must be honest and about your own experience. No paid, fake, threatening or offensive reviews. Businesses can reply publicly but can't offer anything in exchange for changing a review. We may hide reviews that break these rules.

7. Not allowed

  • Scams, fake jobs or listings, impersonation, or misleading information.
  • Harassment, hate, threats or sexual content; contacting people who've blocked you.
  • Spam, scraping, or using AutoCV to collect people's data.
  • Anything illegal in Nigeria.

8. Reports, moderation and suspension

Anyone can report a listing, job, business, review or chat. Listings and jobs reported by several people may be paused while we check. We may remove content, suspend businesses or accounts, and keep records needed to protect others. If we suspend you, we'll tell you why; email support@autocv.com.ng to appeal.

9. Plans and payments

Paid plans (such as Auto Apply and AutoCV Pro) show their price and what's included before you pay. Payments are processed by Paystack or Squad. Plans renew only if you choose a renewing option. Unused credits don't turn into cash. If something you paid for didn't work, contact us and we'll put it right or refund you as Nigerian consumer law requires.

10. Your content

You own what you post. You let us host, show and share it as needed to run AutoCV (for example, showing your listing publicly or sending your CV to an employer you apply to). You can delete your account at any time — see how.

11. Liability

We provide AutoCV "as is" and work to keep it running and safe, but we aren't liable for what employers, providers, customers or applicants do, or for indirect losses. Nothing here limits rights you have under Nigerian law that can't be limited, including under the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act.
